When applicable, taxes will be added to the invoice as a separate charge to be paid by the Buyer.

7. Terms of Payment:

All payments shall be due upon shipment.

8. Cancellations:

If the Buyer wishes to cancel or modify an order, they must obtain written approval from Uni-Ram. A written request for cancellation must be submitted to Uni-Ram’s office in Markham, Toronto. Should Uni-Ram approve the cancellation request, the Buyer will be responsible for paying Uni-Ram a percentage of the total order price corresponding to the percentage of completion at the time of cancellation. Additionally, any returned credit/payment will be subject to a 15% restocking fee, deduction of freight costs, and transaction fees.

9. Security:

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

10.Interest and Fees:

In the event of any dispute arising out of the Order, this Agreement or the transaction described therein, in addition to an award of damages, the Uni-Ram shall be entitled to recover: (1) pre-judgment interest on any amount awarded at a rate of 1 ½% per month, (2) all expenses of litigation, including without limitation all filing fees and court costs; and (3) all attorneys’ fees incurred regardless of whether such fees or expenses are incurred before or after the initiation of litigation.

11. Entire Agreement:

This Agreement is intended by the parties as a final expression of the terms and conditions of the order. No representations, understandings, or agreements have been made or relied upon in the making of this Agreement other than those specifically set forth herein. This Agreement can only be modified in writing signed by both parties. No previous course of dealing between the parties or trade usage may be used to interpret, limit, or otherwise impair the operation of this Agreement.

12. Changes to Terms and Conditions:

We reserve the right to update or change these terms and conditions at any time. Your continued use of the Website after we post any modifications to the terms and conditions on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified terms and conditions.
